The most important goal of our early childhood curriculum is to help children become enthusiastic learners. This means encouraging children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to try out their ideas and to think their own thoughts. At CDI we help children become independent, self-confident, inquisitive learners.

 A child's very first years are filled with phenomenal growth: all of the senses are brought into full play. By observing, touching, listening, smelling, and tasting, young children are constantly investigating their environment. Each day is the beginning of a new adventure. Since children are receptive to any sensory stimulation in their surroundings, it is important to provide activities that foster positive growth and development. Informal play is the arena in which these conditions are optimum. The activities we plan for children, the way we organize their environment, plan their daily schedule, and talk with the children are all designed to accomplish the goals of our curriculum and give your child a successful start in school.
