  T-Ball League Rules and Information (4 and 5 Year Olds) 

  1. All games and practices are held at the fields at 5500 North Meridian Street.
  2. Practices are held once per week, on weeknights, for one hour, between 5:30pm  and 7:30pm.  The practice night and time will be selected by the coach who will inform parents prior to the start of the season.  Conflicts with practice nights should be discussed with the coach and the league administrator.
  3. Games and are held on Saturday mornings and the final game schedule will be distributed by coaches shortly after practices begin.  There will be some weeknight games later in the season which will replace practices.
  4. No game may begin until the home team has provided a volunteer for the concession stand.
  5. Teams are coed, ages 4 and 5
  6. There will be 10 players on each team. This limit is in place to ensure the maximum playing time and coach instruction time for the players involved.
  7. Games will be a maximum of five innings or one hour, whichever is first.
  8. If a game is cancelled due to rain, the coaches will schedule a make-up game. Coaches will notify parents directly in case of a cancellation. If rain occurs during the game, the coached will decide whether to continue, postpone, or cancel the game. If lightning occurs during the game, the game will be cancelled immediately.
  9. All batters and base runners must wear helmets. Pitcher’s helpers must wear helmets with faceguards.
  10. No shoes with metal spikes are allowed.
  11. The ball is hit off a batting tee; there is no pitching.
  12. There are no walks or strikeouts.  Players will be called ‘out’ on the base paths and coaches should return to the dugout.
  13. The ball must travel 10 feet or it is a foul.
  14. No Stealing or leading off.  Player stays on the base until the ball is hit.
  15. An inning is over when all players have batted once.  Coaches should change the batting order every inning.
  16. An adult will act as the catcher at all times.
  17. A player “on deck” must wear a helmet and may not be holding a bat. Only the player at bat may hold a bat.
  18. Players not batting or on deck must sit on the bench.
  19. Base runners will be limited to one base on an overthrown ball.

 Coach Pitch Baseball League Rules and Information (6 and 7 Year Olds) 

  1. All games and practices are held at the fields at 5500 North Meridian Street.
  2.  Soccer League Rules and Information (4 and 5 Year Olds) 

  1. Soccer games and practices are held at the fields at 5500 North Meridian Street.
  2. Practices are held once per week, on weeknights, for one hour, between 5:30pm  and 7:30pm.  The practice night and time will be selected by the coach who will inform parents prior to the start of the season.  Conflicts with practice nights should be discussed with the coach and the league administrator.
  3. Games and are held on Saturday mornings and the final game schedule will be distributed by coaches shortly after practices begin.  There will be some weeknight games later in the season which will replace practices.
  4. This league uses size #3 balls. 
  5. No game may begin until the home team has provided a volunteer for the concession stand.
  6. Teams are coed, ages 4 and 5. There will be 10 players on each team. This limit is in place to ensure the maximum playing time and coach instruction time for the players involved.
  7. Games consist of four 8 minute periods.  Teams play 4 on 4 with one of the 4 players playing goalie.  Both fields are used so teams have two games going concurrently.  Coaches will referee each game. 
  8. For safety reasons, goalies are not allowed to use their hands. 
  9. If a game is cancelled due to rain, the coaches will schedule a make-up game. Coaches will notify parents directly if a game is cancelled.  If rain occurs during the game, the coached will decide whether to continue, postpone, or cancel the game. If lightning occurs during the game, the game will be cancelled immediately.
  10. All players must wear shin guards.  Cleats are recommended but not mandatory.  No shoes with metal spikes are allowed.
  11. There are no penalty kicks in this league (free kicks directly on the goalie) but indirect free kicks (free kicks that can’t be shot on the goal can be called for fouls.
  12. There are no off-sides calls in this league.

 

Soccer League Rules and Information (6 and 7 Year Olds) 

  1. Soccer games and practices are held at the fields at 5500 North Meridian Street. 
  2. Practices are held once per week, on weeknights, for one hour, between 5:30pm  and 7:30pm.  The practice night and time will be selected by the coach who will inform parents prior to the start of the season.  Conflicts with practice nights should be discussed with the coach and the league administrator.
  3. Games and are held on Saturday mornings or early afternoon and the final game schedule will be distributed by coaches shortly after practices begin.  There will be some weeknight games later in the season which will replace practices.
  4. This league uses size #3 balls. 
  5. No game may begin until the home team has provided a volunteer for the concession stand.
  6. Teams are coed, ages 6 and 7. There will be 12 players on each team. This limit is in place to ensure the maximum playing time and coach instruction time for the players involved.
  7. Games consist of four 9 minute periods.  Teams play 7 on 7. Coaches will referee each game.  
  8. If a game is cancelled due to rain, the coaches will schedule a make-up game.  Coaches will contact parents directly if a game is to be cancelled.  If rain occurs during the game, the coached will decide whether to continue, postpone, or cancel the game. If lightning occurs during the game, the game will be cancelled immediately.
  9. All players must wear shin guards.  Cleats are recommended but not mandatory. No shoes with metal spikes are allowed.
  10. There are no penalty kicks in this league (free kicks directly on the goalie) but indirect free kicks (free kicks that can’t be shot on the goal can be called for fouls.

(Fall Season Only) 

  1. Soccer games and practices are held at the fields at 5500 North Meridian Street.
  2. Practices are held once per week, on weeknights, for one hour, between 5:30pm  and 7:30pm.  The practice night and time will be selected by the coach who will inform parents prior to the start of the season.  Conflicts with practice nights should be discussed with the coach and the league administrator.
  3. Games and are held on Saturday early afternoons and the final game schedule will be distributed by coaches shortly after practices begin.  There will be some weeknight games later in the season which will replace practices.
  4. This league uses size #4 balls. 
  5. No game may begin until the home team has provided a volunteer for the concession stand.
  6. Teams are coed, ages 8, 9 and 10. There will be 12 players on each team. This limit is in place to ensure the maximum playing time and coach instruction time for the players involved.
  7. Games consist of four 10-12 minute periods.  Teams play 8 on 8.
  8. Referees are provided for these games.    
  9. If a game is cancelled due to rain, the coaches will schedule a make-up game.  Coaches will conatct parents directly in case of a game cancellation.  If rain occurs during the game, the coached will decide whether to continue, postpone, or cancel the game. If lightning occurs during the game, the game will be cancelled immediately.
  10. All players must wear shin guards.  Cleats are recommended but not mandatory. No shoes with metal spikes are allowed.
