CELEBRATION KICK-OFF AND GROUNDBREAKING
We’ll kick off our 200th anniversary year of events with the groundbreaking of Celebration Terrace on the front lawn of the church

In conjunction with the Indiana Historical Society and their annual Holiday Author Fair, the authors of Great is Thy Faithfulness – A Bicentennial History of Meridian Street Methodist Church, provided details of writing the book via a virtual book launch held via Zoom.

A special event for our senior members to celebrate Christmas, including a presentation from Butler University Professor Jason Lantzer.

The pandemic forced a change to this event from an in person cook-off, to a cookbook filled with delicious chili recipes and pictures and important information about the missions committee. The cook book is still available with a suggested donation of $5 to support the work of the missions committee

ANDREA NEAL'S READING CIRCLE
Beginning this evening and continuing on the second Monday of each month through June, Andrea Neal, co-author of the new history of Meridian Street, takes a deeper look and leads a discussion of the source material. Email if you are interested in joining - it isn't too late!

WEDDING DISPLAY WITH WEDDING CELEBRATION
Celebrate the many marriages that began at Meridian Street with a display of wedding pictures and mementos – complete with wedding cake. In order for the display to be on view for everyone to see, we have decided to delay this event until a later date.

TEA AND STYLE SHOW
Join us for a Traditional High Tea and enjoy a style show, “Sunday Best: Church Fashions Through the Years” supporting the Domestic Violence Network of Central Indiana. So that we can see the details of the fashions and fully enjoy the event, we have decided to postpone the Tea and Style Show until 2022.
